The Base Hemel is a local charity that offer hope, encouragement and support to people in our community. They work in partnership with churches, the police and the local authority.
They also work very closely with CAP, hosting CAP events such as money courses, job clubs and Liberty Tea Rooms, an advisory centre with a twist.
Liberty Tea Rooms is a quintessentially British vintage style tea room that offer some good company and a good old fashioned cuppa. They operate purely on a ‘Pay as You Feel' policy and offer advice and assistance from CAP Debt Coaches.
They have also hosted events like Un:Locked, a weekly youth club and Speak Out 31, a support group for parents, carers and families.
